True, but what I mean is there is nothing fundamentally stopping you running the V8 on 95 octane, it may have been set up for this already and if not it is a simple timing adjustment that most places will do for free when the car is in for a service. So it's misleading to say the V8S *has* to be run on super.

Buy an S3 with a nice shiney sports exhaust. Once you've heard that popping and banging you won't care about anything else. (and you'll save on the maintenance fees = more money for beer )
