18" spider alloys on an S Series
Discussion
Possibly, but I think you may have to remove 2 or 3 inches of bodywork to get them on and I'm pretty sure they would stick out..
If you are not keen on the originals, being Ford hubs they ought to be fairly easy to replace.. Don't throw the old ones away though; no longer made and are much sought after..

Don't Chimmy and Griff wheels come in differnt front and back sizes ? where an early S has 14" and later ones 15". Also have to take care over the offset if using "other" wheels. Most ford are 35mm, my V8s has TVR wheels marked 7J t22 so I think 22mm offset. I was at the scrappie lat weekend looking for a set of 16" 7j to fit for sprinting but no luck so far.
I think these are the wheels that Halford sell that look a little like the spyders
