I am trying to find the best tyrepressure for my V8S with standard 205/60's.
Lots of advises in this forum, but measured with cold or hot tyres?
Who's driving with nitrogen?

Tyre pressures are normally quoted cold because they're normally set cold. You're right to be carefull though, if you talk to regular track day drivers they may talk about hot pressures too. On a track, hot pressures are the ones that matter. No I don't use Nitrogen, I use ordinary fresh air, its cheaper!

This may ba a 'thick' question (well, I am pretty 'thick'), but why use nitrogen in your tyres?

I understand it is because nitrogen is "thicker" than air (nitrogen & oxygen, etc) and therefore less prone to leak out or expand.

I'm sure someone here has a more technical explanation.
