Respray !!!

Wow ! I'm really cross ! Some arse van driver has just reversed into the back of my parked S3 (queue Victor Meldrew quote) ! Didn't even apologise !!! Unbelievable.

Luckilly it only looks like he's cracked the right rear light cluster and abraded the paint work. Given that I'm based in west london - anyone have any ideas as to who'd be the best to sort this out ? Particularly the paint work - the cluster shouldn't be to hard.

I noticed on your PH profile that your white S3 has a black screen surround and lower panels. I remember Tower View doing this to a white S3 a few years ago. The owner wanted to replicate another S3 (owner by a chap in Herts), which also originaly had white panels in black seats and a few other mods from the factory.
I don't know what happened to the original car, but yours looks like the replica.

That's quite possible. I bought her off a chap in Harpenden who'd had her since 1995 and used Tower View exclusively, so he could well have known of the original and had the work done.

It's just really annoying - as I'd just bought the P21 wax stuff and was about to ask Pies for his 7 point waxing plan !

btw: Where did you get the oval side indicators on your S ? They're very good.

They are Ford (old) Mondeo.
I think they are also available from Halfords in clear.

Depending on how far you want to travel, you could try Harrison and Co. in Farnham. They did a full front end respray on mine and I was really pleased with the job they did.
