What a messy horrible thankless job, its taken about a week and thats just for the engine bay.

No rust found but a few signs of paintwork cracks,so i did the lot.

Just got to rebuild and waxoyl now

and just how many cable ties do TVR use when building these cars.........thousands

Not many bits removed

rad = two bolts

swirl tank = 4 bolts

air filter = 1 bolt

two air ducts = 1 clip on each

3 million cable ties

That's a wonderful job there pies...

Now it would be a shame to reinvent the wheel so you can put your experience to good use... and do mine?

I take it the fact you're onto the engine bay and the back end next the outriggers have been done , any problems tips whilst there .

Harry i did the outriggers a couple of months ago but aimed to do them again but the stuff i used seems to stand up very well,i used Waxoyl underbody seal.

It is much thicker than normal waxoyl in fact its so thick you have to push the brush into the stuff.If they did it in clear it would be all over the engine bay as well

Best tools for clearing out seem to be a hacksaw blade and something like a pipe cleaner which you can reshape

I'll up date later on

After i've put the car back together i'll try and take some pics
