You can tell in 3 ways...

1) The sound...
2) The fact that the tunnel you're in is lighting up!
3) Your passenger going

Car has to be pretty hot to do it... and then you have to absolutely boot it in second, and lift off sharply... or be pelting it in fourth, and blip the throttle into second...

Have also noticed some hidden costs of the new exhaust.

1) Can't hear the stereo
2) Going deaf.

Having said that, 2 kinda makes 1 redundant...

Glad you like it.. Wander over to sleepyfish.com for a video file of mine.. Lets have a soundoff at BTaP..

Cheers chap... love it. 100% anti-social, but who cares?!?

Heard yours via video clip, but not sure the clips ever do these things any justice.

Sound of mine is changing with time... obviously bedding in. Went a bit quiet for a bit, but now (thankfully) loud again.

Sound off? Think you might have it... some of us still have baffles!!! (although not many).

Perhaps a minute's free revving for all in memory of the late Harrigan Walpole? (hint)

Sounds to me to be an excellent idea. We have lost a couple of people over the time I have been around and it might make a fitting tribute. See what others think.

Oh, and warm engines please.

Can't take credit for the concept, but it is certainly a fitting tribute to fellow PHers... hey, they need to hear us up there!

Warm engines..? - but of course... louder.

Yep, quite a big change actually. I've said before that initially the note was quite raspy, well that started to die down, and more of a burble developed at low revs, and the typical V6 scream higher up.

I'm not sure if it has got quieter, or whether I've just got used to it, but the tone has changed. It's still loud enough to make people turn and look to see what's coming down the road and I've had some nice comments people in convoys saying she sounds good, so I'm a happy bunny.
