Exhaust gasket?

I have some spare exhaust gaskets as I just replaced both manifolds.I bought 6 gaskets thinking they come separatly but they are joined together so I have ended up with 4 spares.Let me know if you want a pair and I will put them in the post as I dont need them.Managed to get all my bolts off without snapping any,is that a first.These are for a 2.9 by the way,I thin the 2.8 has a different head so different manifold.

yup standard from ford although you have to cut them into three bits.replaced the bolts on mine with alen headed ones and was much easier to put back on.

edited to say overnight soak in easoil a must for the bolts.

I think in the long run you could be making life difficult for yourself there. It is much easier to 'round' the hexagon on the allen heads bolts than it is to round off a normal hex head bolt. I think five years down the line you could be setting yourself up for a tough time getting them back out again.
All IMHO of course.

tried a few bolts on mine but no joy
did you do anything special to the bolts?
what did you soak them in
how long ?
Have currently got the manifolds off my S2 and I found patience is the secret as I managed to get all bolts out without shearing any heads by just taking time and not being tempted to use excessive force. Spend the week beforehand soaking each bolt in Plus Gas at least once a day and when you start working on it try each bolt in turn if doesn't move soak it and move on to the next one. Use a good quality ring spanner wherever possible and try tightening as well as undoing as this sometimes breaks the seal. The bad news was when I came to put the manifolds back on last weekend one hole in the cylinder head has stripped a thread completely so I'm now in the process of taking the heads off to get that sorted.

the gaskets that were on the car were not that old,even with this the bolts were very hard to get off.(and i had the body off the car!) loads of copper grease on the threads of the new ones so hopefully they wont be so bad next time. as far as torque goes this is a problem, refitted the manifolds with the body on and it is almost impossible to use the torque wrench. done one or two with the t.r. to get a feel for how tight and did the rest with the allen keys. it is much easier to tighten with allen keys than spanners etc.
This years bike racing went better than planned and to be honest although the TVR is a wonderfull car I'm really a biker at heart. Hence I'll stick to the bikes and sell the S3 to someone who will look after her.
We came 3rd in class in the UK Endurance championship this year and next year is going to be more serious so the cash flow will be tight aswell.
Shame cause the Tiv is lovely.

All done, the phot is in my profile and I changed the exhaust gaskets last night (2 hour job). Quite easy really even the bolts came out after a 5 minute soak in WD40.
The exhaust had been replaced with Stainless down tubes and main exhaust so that made removing the bolts a bit easier.
The only problem is that I now have a distinct whirring sound when running the engine, I reckon this is from the belt (which required removal for the exhaust work)
I'll slacken the belt slighty tonight and then my next job is to paint the chassis in that p-15 stuff, oh happy days.
