What is it?
is it hairline cracks in the plastic?
My S2 has some (i think) on the nearside rear wing...

any treatments out there for it?

is it a costly one to fix?

IIRC they are called spiders and I think are a pain in the proverbial to fix. You need to sand right down to where the material is intact, then probably a bit more to be safe and slowly build up layers again to make it flush. Take a quick search as I'm sure its been discussed before.

I've one on the bonnet just by the air scoop. Seems to not be not spreading, but doies need to be attended to sometime soon..

Best way I've found is to carefully grind down through the gel-coat, Lay in some glass tissue-cloth, fill, prime/fill, etc. and then do the same on the underside but with heavier glass. Stress cracks are caused by stress, which needs to be overcome, filling alone will not provide a permanent solution

I have crazing on the rear wing on my S1. I look upon it as patina of a classic sports car, after all it is now nearly 16 years old.
To have it all resprayed would give the impression there was far more serious damage.
It is something that will show on any fiberglass car after about 10 years so let it grow old gracefully.
It occurs when there is not a perfect match between body and chassis which is never found with a blackpool thunderer.
Once it has settled it shouldn't get any worse.
In three years I can see no worsening on mine.

Its all a matter of personal preference.
