Tuning your S

Try this thread also.
It looks at modifying the Air Intake Vane opeing tension which allows increased air flow - the result is that the ECU readjusts fuel mix with a longer pulse! It should improve driveability and with smoother, faster throttle response. And it can be done at home for free .

If you speak to Dave at Tower View amd you can convince him to sell it ... he has a Ford development V6 that is a little bit more than the standard Cosworth. It was built by Cosworth and is a lovely looking lump, I did consider going that route with my S ... It's just gathering dust at the moment ...

Great shame that it must be begging to be fitted to a car that can do it justice. If you ever have the chance at one of the meetings Johno see if you can get 'gbgaffer' to give you a spin in his S4C(osworth). Having owned an S and the being the current pilot of a griff500 I think you may appreciate it but be prepared to be a little suprised , standard cosworth.....pah.....not on your nelly .
