I have just discovered this site which will help anybody who is looking at a secondhand
diff installation over the winter

from their list, this diff goes to the S with the 2.9 engine, its a straight swap
3.64:1 7.5" for the RWD Cosworth (with 108mm drive-flanges)

the 7' and 4x4 diffs wont fit.

Im not sure about the 2.8 S1s though

I think you'll find that you will need the diff with the 100 mm dia drive flanges and avoid the 108mmm 9speaking from bitter experience )

also the Sierra club is already in the Useful Links wiki and I did an extract from the SOC some time ago on this post...HTH
