Ally Parts for TVR S Series

Time to tart up your interior?

Lee Boreham has spent many, many hours working on his own TVR S and those of many other owners. He's got such a passion for the model that he's even been off and had aluminium parts made up for the interior.
All parts are CNC machined from T6 aluminium and can be polished or clear anodised.
The switches for the earlier S series cars are built up using the original switches from the car, these are then stripped, chemically cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner before being machined and reassembled using the new alloy parts..
Air vent bezels are supplied with glue and can be easily fitted in a few minutes as it simply fits over the outside diameter of the vent.
The steering wheel boss is to allow fitment of the later TVR horn push, this is mainly for the S1/S2 cars.
The S1 heater panel shown is the prototype, the owner much preferred it to the original black painted steel item!
The stalks shown are still being developed, I am really looking now to replace the buttons with steering wheel mounted buttons, this will be achieved via an alloy plate on the steering wheel, this will be fully wired and will come with instructions. That will of course change if the customers really want buttons on the end!
Other alloy parts in development include
  • S2 heater panel (this is being drawn into Pro Engineer this week)
  • S3 square switch bezels
  • Electric window switch bezels
  • Instrument bezels
  • Roof struts
  • Glovebox handle
  • Plus a few other things
Prices will be determined by the level of interest. So if you want some of Lee's work, then get emailing and he'll get his spreadsheet out!

Have S3 with 'early' cockpit.

Put me down for shiny round knobs, bezels, probably vent covers too. Interested in stalks, but will reserve judgement for sight of steering wheel plate.

Keep up the good work mate

I've got a 1991 S3 and would be very interested in anything shiny and slick for my beast - cue Podie!

Steering column stalks would be fab.

Air vents and bezels to start with and would love switches but would need to negotiate off road time if you need the originals.

I'd just like to say not to forget that Karl is also looking into these items as well as quite a few others. Having seen what else Karl produces for other models, they are VERY good quality. I will be seeing him this weekend to discuss things as he has had bits off my S2 and has made drawings and prototypes etc..

Roy.

I'm on for the vent bezels, heater surround, square switches for s3C. What about dial bezels, could be stick on like vents?

There is also a thread running about alloy dash and S3 switch plate, do your skills run to this?
