Hello, today has been one of the best days of my life, I took delivery of my 1989 s2 this afternoon. I love TVR's and it was an obvious choice for me, I can't wait to go out for a drive, I’m just awaiting my insurance details, which are pretty touch and go as I'm 21.

Anyhow, sorry to bore you, I would be interested in all parts available for the s2, if you could send a cost sheet it would be much appreciated, (I tried to e-mail to no avail) thanks a lot willholland113@hotmail.com

Really sorry about the delay in all this (hectic isn't the word!), anyway I should have a website sorted in the next few weeks so if you can all hang on a little while longer I will get it sorted

I LeeBee a big thank for the ally parts for the V8S, they are amazing looking. I am so please, I can't stop smiling. If anyone else is thinking about these you have got to get them.

As for the web site, I have a web development and design company. I can sort out a site for you by the end of the week if interested.

Thanks very much for taking the time to product the ally parts, M

P.S. If you have any other parts on offer, I am a willing customer.

Which parts did you buy, Im about to upgrade my S2 to a V8s (Gonna lose those lovely LeeBee round switches when the S2 goes ), just wondering what parts are available for a V8s ?

Thanks

Darren

Bezel set on my S

Thanks Lee, they really do finish off the car nicely. A point to take in to account though - on some S's (but not all) the bezels cannot fit round the actual instruments (speedometer, clock and rev-counter) but have to be glued on to the dash in-front. Nice one TVR!

Err.. Shoulda kept a spare set, shouldn't I. It was only a matter of time before I upgraded to a V8. I must check with the Breakers to see if there is a set !

And cheers for the 'Good to have you back' comment

Just got the dials. I'll try and sort some pics tomorrow as I'm taking the car to TVR Wales for some outrigger work, and maybe a respray on the nose (depending on cost).

I know, they are nearly all different which is a real pain, I have redesigned the large bezels for the real wood dash as the clocks are flush with the face

Well, my speedometer surround fell off last week and had to be super-glued back on. Other than that - nothing to report.

Oh, after dropping my car off at Tower View on a Sunday night and calling Monday to check it was still there, they said "ah yes, the S with all the shiny dials..."

Is the dash the metal without the plastic veneer or have you fitted it?? Looks good IMHO!!
