Leven Technology will restore badges to better than new standards by filling all the grooves with resin. They charge £35 each.

I have the front plastic one hat I took off because it seemed to have been glued back on maybe and the glue had eaten through the metallic backing that gives it the silver finish throu the tvr in black. I've took it off and cleaned up under the badge and peeled off the metallic silver foil. Now I need to know wphow to put that silver backing on (and what it is) and which adhesive to use to put back on car.

Gonna have a respray in time so want to be able to take it off again. What's the best glue to use that can be removed again?

The original factory TVR badges are diecast metal with enamel or resin infill, and are held in place by integral studs secured with nuts and spring washers on the inside of the bonnet or boot.

They may also have a double-sided foam adhesive backing for additional security.

I do not know of any plastic TVR badges.

original wouldn't have been plastic, metal with two studs and nuts as Glen has said.

if studs break off or you go for an after market plastic badge I wouldn't use glue, try number plate sticky pads., although it may well come with sticky stuff fitted.
