I think you should build the V8S first, as the owners are more likely to afford the model

nah, the V6 owners will have all their spare change from the better mpg and still keeping up with the V8 boys

I thought the spare change from running the V6 was to keep a good stock of ready use exhausts, down pipes, throttle pots, throtttle cables, Leven go faster bits et al

Jeez... someone's a happy bunny, aren't they..?

Poodie is your mission today to point fault or potential fault in my posts . If so then I think you may need to re-examine who's the happy bunny. All I have done is post comments 'on topic' (well almost on-topic ), whilst you seem to have stalked my posts and posted comments on my post and not the threads themselves, if I'm wrong then 'ave a day off anyway .

Two comments on similar lines, hardly constitutes stalking dear boy. Still, apologies if it has riled you...

Given that S1's, S2'S AND S3's look reasonably similar (except under scrutiny) and that the generally accepted opinion is that they look better in darker colours I would suggest an S3 in BRG, Cooper Green or Mica Blue would be the most popular option. The diversity of interior trim would require a thesis to make a decision.. but cream and a bit of walnut would seem fine.

In any event they are beautiful cars so I'm sure you'll have a market for all but the most bizarre of combinations!

Anyhow.. great idea and count me in for a purchase, ( unless of course you decide on a chocolate brown V8)

Good call.

Steve.

If yopu intend to do a BRG version of the V8S, may I suggest that on a model metalic colours do not always look right due to the scale. However for a true BRG that looks good in scale and could be passed off as black in the right light conditions, Brooklands Racing Green may be a better colour.
Obviously only in the interests of getting a better model for all to enjoy, I also hear that a flint grey interior goes well with it too .

Don't care what colours/shapes you produce the models in, just so long as they look like this:

Many thanks for all your feedback.

I will bring along a couple Alfa's we have already produced as example cars at the next Mid-Essex meet to show you the kind of quality, paint finish etc you can expect. In most cases the final production model ends up with a better paint finish than the real car (certainly in the case of early Alfa's).

At the moment from analysis of the feedback given an S3 in mica blue, cooper green and monza red are favourites with V8's very close behind.

In terms of interior we will stick to black or tan with a walnut dash.

Finally, we will make both an S3 and a V8S as I love both cars anyway.

Cheers
