Many (if not all) here suffer with slow raising, windows that is, and equally close retracting. Queries have been raised about the correct window channel to use. I guess people like TVR Car Parts can help but I have looked at rhe window channel from the S2 I broke some time ago.

Measured up and they are 12mm wide by 16mm deep and you would need under 3 metres for an S2, S3 and later would need more , say 4 to be sure, as the window retracts fully.

This seems to be the stuff, Woolies Trim, Universal window channel. Single track velvet covered rubber. Approx 12mm (1/2") overall at base, but sides have natural tendency to "lean-out", making it very adaptable. Inner flanges can cope with various thicknesses of glass. SKU 317

That's the stuff (Woolies part number 317) that I fitted ages ago and I always recommend as it works fine and is easily obtained. I just used a dab of glue to ensure that it didn't move in the frame.
