Any decent places in London where I can take my car to get washed today?
Where do you take your pride and joy?

Another vote for Lellers, I've used both the nr Edgeware Rd one and Clerkenwell Rd one - both good.
I'd also recommend a hand wash one on Druid Street - £10 inside and out, a great job too - in the railway arches as you approach London Bridge from Bermondsey.

Just thought I would add - I popped down to Posh Wash near hyde park corner and they appeared shut.
They also have a stupid setup where you have to enter an underground car park even if you are a poshwash customer.
Then you are supposed to beep your horn and the guard opens the barrier.
Except, there was no one around and the inevitable queue of cars behind me.
Never again.
Used Lellers instead. Good guys, if not a tad grumpy.

Top of the Abbey Road / bottom of West End Lane....The American Car Wash Company are pretty good although I think finding any Americans there is somewhat stretching the point.

It's not just a wash a go but a proper clean, using quality materials and methods, by trusted professionals. I took my GT3 there recently and was very impressed with the set up and attention to detail. A quick look around at their other clients shows just how trusted this place is, it's like a petrolheads dream Ok it's slightly more than £5 a wash but I won't use anyone else now. You can even leave it there, stroll to Harrods, or sit outside with a coffee and admire the Knightsbridge 'views'... Massive thumbs up from me.

This place is on another level to the others I've used It is slightly more expensive but the quality of workmanship is far superior and you very much get what you pay for as said above They use a multi bucket filter system so so swirls are inflicted on the cars. A bonus is that they are walking distance from all the major shops in the area, i.e Harrods so you can leave your car there and go shopping too I'm nothing to with Liquid, but I am an extremely satisfied regular customer!

Its about 20min from park lane but i would recommend a car wash called "over the rainbow"
excellent bunch of lads down there and the owner is very hands on and is there everyday and is a trained detailer.
They start off with a snow foam then use the two bucket method. the cars dried with micro fibre towels two towels per car then they are not used again until washed. They dry all the boot shuts etc using a airline so no water coming out the shuts once driven off. Also they are premiere detailers in london and have a purpose built detailing studio big enough to fit a ewb phantom. Best thing of all its a tenner for a wash including two bucket method
Very easy to find they are located right next to the ace cafe near hanger lane.
There adress is North Circular Road, London NW10 7UD (Next door to Ace Cafe)
Again i have no affiliation with the business whats so ever i just live locally and take both my bmw and porsche to these guys weekly

I took my Porsche GT3RS to Liquid Perfection Centre in Knightsbridge last week after a recommendation. I live in central London and have tried all the car washes mentioned above at some point or another. This place is on a completely different level compared to the others, to say I am pleased is an understatement! The quality of workmanship is awesome and the customer service - awesome. This place is easily the best car wash in London in my opinion and is the ONLY place I will be taking my GT3 from now on.

USA Hand Car Wash, Romford Road, E12 (by all the Avenues) Yeah, if you wanted the single bucket, part stone part sponge wash that leaves your car inflicted in swirl marks. Those people have never heard of a clay bar before or even heard of a two bucket method! Jesus wept, those guys can barely speak english. Fine if your car is a piece of s t and you don't like your paintwork much but thats all. I cringe to see expensive cars going through that shiit hole.

Thanks, There isn't anywhere local that cleans cars properly. They are all incredibly bad but thats because where we live there isn't a market for a car wash that costs more than £5. Heck, Upton lane now cleans a car for £3. I'd do it by hand mate. Learn to clean cars a little by logging onto detailing world forum and reading up a bit. Practice makes perfect.

The only place in London which I would recommend is Topaz Detailing in Kensington. They offer a maintenance programme after doing a detail, incredible work! popped in Yesterday and they had a Carrera GT, MC12 and Veyron being detailed.

Sorry for the thread hijak, but I'm looking for a detailing place rather than a good quality wash.
I've got a restored 1972 911 that I want detailed and waxed for Le Mans Classic. Topaz sounds great, but they are relatively pricey by the looks, especially as my car is quite 'small' compared to what they usually work on.
Anyone got any other recommendations for where to take my car??
