Hi - can anyone recommend a mobile valeter, who covers SW London (Putney)? I'd prefer a one-man band/small concern I've scoured Google repeatedly, and of the ones I have found who appeal, and who state they cover the area: the first kept putting it off day-after-day because of the rain (didn't have a gazebo) until it got silly; second, couldn't fit me in, and wasn't interested in taking my details in case of a cancellation; third, left a voice-mail which was never returned; fourth, said he'd only come to my locale for a detail - not a valet, even though his website states he covers this area. Um, really? This needs to be this difficult and frustrating? Please help

If you just need a good valet I can highly recommend Lukas/Artur at www.carcarelm.co.uk Polish guys who don't faff around with unnecessarily expensive chemicals.. just keep their head down and do a very good job! They have all their tanks and stuff in their van (shoddy van, but don't judge it).. so all you need is somewhere off street for them to work. And if you need a detail / paint correction, I know another chap, but he doesn't advertise and his English isn't the best.. but again, unbelievable what he can achieve for little cost using just skill rather than fancy machinery!

You're not selling them!  Thank you for the reply. I have spent hours on this - it's ridiculous. Who knew it was so hard to give one's money away?

Try Gurcharn at Elite Detailing. He is the best I've ever seen. Now based in London I believe.

Great - thank you; that's one website I hadn't yet come across. More a detailer, than a valeter though - but I shall keep their details (no pun), since I'll need a detail soon prior to going to LMC I had actually looked at Car Care LM's website previously - but was somewhat put off by the list of (non-car related) areas they are branching into, contemplating, therefore, that they mightn't be experienced/dedicated car valeters/detailers. But, given your recommendation - I may give them a go Thanks both

In the end, I went with this chap whom I found courtesy of Google: www.ctwvaleting.co.ukNot only did he do a great job - he came all the way to Putney from Herts, and rescheduled another appointment to make it to me on a particular day. Recommended
