I'm hoping to have a wake for my dear old Mum at The Trinity Arms, Trinity Gardens, in Brixton. A return home for her, as she and her huge family lived there for many years - and spent much of their time in The Trin!

The advice that I am after is for parking. I know that is permit parking only in The Gardens, so I am trying to find a nearby car park that is likely to have 10 - 15 spaces.

The guys in the pub have suggested one in Porden Road near Tesco Express - but this doesn't come up in a Google Maps search. The nearest to show is at Pope's Road, by the bus station.

However, when I look at Porden Road/Buckland Road on Google Maps you can see what looks like a car park - and the satellite photo shows it as pretty empty.

As my mother's remaining siblings are in their 70s and 80s I would like to minimize the need for any walking, so does anyone have any local knowledge of those car parks? Or any other nearby ones?

Jeez; my family must have spent a fortune in that pub over the 50s, 60s and 70s. It would be good to celebrate Mum's life with a drink there one last time...

TIA
