Good evening Ladies & Gentlemen

I am with a group of fiends visiting London on the 22nd and we are looking for some advice on where to and where not to go, we were booked into Cafe De Paris however i have just had contact from them saying that although a reservation of two tables had been booked they have decided to revoke on our booking based on the fact we are an all male party of 19 people which is fair enough if that is their policy. This now leaves us unplanned at short notice hence the reason i am looking for help on here.

Thank you in advance

what sort of thing do you fancy? Heavy night, not so heavy women? or a sophisticated soirée?

A mix of heavy night forward slash sophisticated soiree, we have a mixed group of people age range of 35-45 all "fairly" respectable individuals and a fairly flexible budget

Could go for a bite at ping pong in Soho and order a round of lychee martinis. Then walk on down to the comedy store in Piccadilly. Comedy store is IMHO one of the best nights out in London, beer is reasonably priced you will laugh your head off. Get out Comedy store around 11pm and then go to Zoo bar in Leicester square or maybe Tonteria off Sloane Square?

With that many people you need a one stop venue....maybe the commedy store after drinks/dinner but you'll struggle to get 20 blokes in anywhere after that. Especially 20 40 years olds....you're not exactly the clientel a lively bar wants (speaking as a 46 yr old).

Personally I'd try and find a bar that does good bar food....either reserve a space or get there early and establish your area. Sitting down for dinner with that many people doesn't really work very well in most restaurants.....you'll get a set menu and probably be sat at two or three tables.
