Porsche Cayman trade in for which road hog/commuter car?

I am moving out of London and so unfortunately commuting approx 500 miles per week. My lovely Porsche Cayman had to go! So I need a reliable, economical, comfortable, modern, bit whizzy and responsive car (please)! hat can take country lanes well and the motorway, but what do i get? OK Automatic and diesel of course but which one? I am totally distraught to have to give up my gorgeous Porsche but the long drives make it a ridiculous form of transport! Any ideas piston heads what I should exchange it for? I have approx £10k to spend. Thank you!

Do you need to sell the Porsche? I use mine as everyday transport- done over 10,000 miles since December- perfect commuter car.
