BMW DriveNow launches in Islington/Hackney/Haringey

I'm quite interested in car sharing models and was rather disappointed when Daimler give up on the Smart forTwos based Car2Go scheme earlier this year.
BMW/Sixt just launched a similar by-the-minute rental service in London, allowing pick up and return anywhere in any on-street parking bays in participating councils. Initially they have only 1-series and Mini Countryman in Islington, Hackney and Haringey. They say the i3 will be added by March and hopefully more deals with contiguous councils will be struck.
Rip-off Britain as usual. Their standard €29 registration in Europe becomes £29 here. Apparently using the link below reduces it to under £10 plus a few free trial minutes for the new member and me. There was a promo code "LONDON" but it's limited to a certain number of uses.
