It's got to be the Regency, I used to live on Regency Street so popped in fairly regularly. Proper place, but as said, take ear defenders, Claudia has one hell of an impressive set of lungs.

Roast in Borough Market is good if you want posh, but it isn't greasy and it isn't a spoon and the parking isn't that great.
Another + for the Regency I've been going on and off for 15 years, I will even make a detour if I'm any where near! City types, builders, actors, popular with all sorts.

Roast is also good, they do or did a great Kedgeree.

Brunswick House in Vauxhall for a slightly quirky but better than it sounds breakfast. Has a nice sunny sheltered courtyard as well.

Plenty of parking behind Metropolis opposite plus you get a chance to look at the bikes after.

Win win.
