Yellow box under Hammersmith flyover = massive cash cow

I've just been done for yet another £65 for coming to a split second halt with my rear wheels on the yellow hatching 
Must be about 6 times in the last 3 years. I know that it is my own fault as by the letter of the law I am in the wrong, but given how many people I see doing it (one car every 5 mins easily during the day, so say 12 an hour for 12 hrs x £65 = £3M+ per year) and given that they seem to be so anal with it without fail, I'm wondering if they're using it as a deliberate earner. It seems to me to be the equivalent of the police sitting there with a speed camera and doing everyone for 32 in a 30 zone i.e. legal but taking the piss.
