garage / secure parking in wimbledon

hi all - i wonder if anyone can help. i am moving to wimbledon and looking for somewhere safe to store my motorbike. A lock up garage would be ideal anywhere in the general area...do you have any idea how i can find one? or how much I should be paying? thanks

Local councils (Merton, Wandsworth etc) will also have council garages available. Often there are waiting lists, and locations might not be that flexible, but worth enquiring.

Last time i checked you can apply for at least some boroughs where you dont even have to be a resident.

Talked to our neighbour the other night - they have a space in an NCP under one of the big blocks of flats up in Wandsworth off Smugglers Way (next to the tip) and while I can't remember exactly how much they are paying it was very little - about £100 a month or something. It is a separate section of the car-park with a separate barrier apparently - full of high end motors too.
