Ickenham is pretty good. Parts of Hillingdon aren't great, and Hayes has people fleeing to Syria to get away from the danger. But Ickenham is an atol of paradise in an ocean of mayhem.

I was born there. We fled to S.London when I was 7.

I lived in Ickenham from age very small,not born there,to 7 when we moved to Cheam.

Apparently we were the first family to move into the then new estate....Eleanor Grove FYI.

Eleanor Grove is still nice. Rather posh 60s houses that fetch about £5-600K these days.
