Huge thanks to three Cabbies

I'm not sure if any black cab drivers ever venture on here, but you never know.

Last week, my 8 year old son, Henry, visited Great Ormond Street Hospital for some tests. Nothing life threatening you understand, but medical tests nonetheless, which necessitated an overnight stay from our native North Yorkshire.

Henry's condition means that travel on the underground is tricky, so Mrs Veloce used black cabs to get around with him.

On three separate occasions, three different Cabbies looked after him, made him laugh and made his trip something really special. On two trips, on learning why he was in London absolutely refused to take any payment for their service.

Gentlemen, on behalf of Henry, thank you very much indeed.

Nice story to read as its great to see there are still some real genuinely decent people out there. Black cabbies have helped me out a few times this year in the city and i take my hat off to them for their knowledge and help.
