Hello Southern PH'ers,

I'm venturing into the capital for the next few days and I have 2 afternoons free. Today (weds) and tomorrow (thurs 4th). I'm staying in Euston. What should I go see/do. Usual PH preference towards anything mechanical. Anything car related to go see? Otherwise aeroplanes are always good!

Thanks everyone, Jim.

Not car related or even Airplane related but the Wellcome Collection is very close and has rave reviews. I went there once for a Forensic exhibition which was very good but don't know anything more about it personally. I think it is free entry.

Being a Yorkshireman free entry is appealing!

The only thing aeroplane related would be getting a very close up view of aeroplanes taking off and landing at city airport.

The Belfast is a good trip, not sure how much it is these days.

Not mechanical in the PH sense but the Huntarian is simply wonderful and utterly fascinating http://www.hunterianmuseum.org

Then advise finding a Sammy Smith's pub - cheapest good beer you will find in London and of course a taste of home for you! http://www.samsmithschallenge.co.uk/map.php
