North/South circular are pretty damn "central London" on a national scale.
Again I say have you & others been who are worried about your health been pressing MP's on these other issues that affect your health or are you just like your MP's & only interested in imposing another tax on people that can least afford it.
I'm not worried about MY health, thanks. Nor am I overly worried about the ULEZ.

My MP has far better things to be spending his time on, not least because I'm not daft enough to live anywhere NEAR central(-ish) London. Even when I did live a mile outside the M25, with a tube station at the end of my road, the number of times I drove into central(-ish) London was minimal, and damn near every single one of those times were entirely convenience-driven and would have been perfectly possible (probably easier, even) without the car. The times that weren't were because business use required the car, and I would have cheerfully recharged the ULEZ to my client (or otherwise factored it into my bill/expenses) just as I would recharge the CC.

What's 'daft' about living close to Central London? - I drive in London several days of the weeks for work (and occasional weekend 'recreation') and it almost used to be a pleasure (I say 'almost' as its never a real pleasure) and only used the tube/rail infrequently if I needed to go to one place for several hours. It is now more or less impossible to travel East/West routes through London. That freedom of choice has effectively been removed by successive 'attacks' on motorised traffic by the previous mayor Boris Johnson and seemingly will be picked-up with a vengeance by Sadiq Khan. I want to know when someone is going to start a petition at the highest levels to remove the stupidly ineffective and disruptive pollution increasing cycle routes. They just can't logically continue!

How dare you apply logic & sensibilities to a discussion when Mr Kahn & Tax For Londoners can along with the likes of 2CV's blessing just tax the victims of these short term policies rather than actually do something.

"It is proposed all residents living in the ULEZ will be granted a three year sunset period to 6 September 2023 before any daily charge applies" All you classic car owners still have 6 years before you have to pay, start saving up!

All whilst you are all saving up for your super green Nissan Leaf or other 'zero' emission car just watch for the first really cold winter to put such heavy demands on the national grid that you won't actually ever get to charge your car up and use it!

You don't need a zero emission car, only one that is Euro 4 compliant if petrol.
