Cleared up my earlier mess and simplified it:

How about we pop to the Blue Anchor, which is a ten minute walk from Tadworth Station, on the 9th or 10th of May?

Hello from KT1 smile
worcester park and kingston eh? kingston here too.. perhaps if enough of us we can persuade a kingston meeting place out of the others! biggrin
I dont know if its yours, but there is a elise the same colour scheme as yours in surbiton with the plate "z00m"..

But If your living in Ham then I guess its not you, have you seen it?

Id be up for a drink. Harrts boatyard maybe? I only just off Portsmouth road, thats one of the nicer venues about the place..
I am KT7 and you also have The Albany in Thames Ditton good lager selection and food but a bit pricey. Also don't forger the fairmile in Cobham massive car park familiar territory for PHers ??

Spent many a sunday afternoon being loud and getting on peoples nerves, it was ten years ago in my defence and it was called the fox on the river then, now I live 5 mins from it and can be found once or twice a week sprawled accross the couch near the bar !!

I couldn't do a weekend (esp not that one as I'm at the 'ring) and whilst I'm sure its nice a "country" pub is a bit inconvenient. I generally go to a pub to drink so unless you can get there on public transport or cycle ...

If we do have a meet in the Richmond area I'd definitely be up for it.

Cobham is not exactly the country and I thought this was meant to be a bit of both if just beers as per the topic title nuts then stick to Richmond as it is a nice river location and easy enough to get too.

I am going to shut up know as I cant even make it !!!

Yes, on re-reading my post it did seem a bit grumpy, sorry. However, if you are at the Putney/Barnes end of the suggested area (as I am) then Cobham is quite a way.

Anyway I can't make that weekend anyway, but in principle would be on for a Richmond (or nearby ... Barnes anyone?) beer one (preferably weekday) evening.

I'd rather a place with parking like my women: free and easy. Cobham isn't exactly difficult to get to from any location. It's just off the M25. Kingston has plenty of parking in the evenings, too. And I know Kingston well. biggrin

Let's do the Tadworth place, then. I like the idea of a summer evening's drive to and from the venue. Can give anyone a lift to and from the Kingston/New Malden/Tolworth area if they buy me cokes/J2Os/dinner... (I can take up to 3 passengers, legally.)

http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/20/20030/Bl... from 7pm? Could eat there, too?
