Slight irony to this is I've just posted a very similar thing on the Kent & Essex forum, but it seems I may be moving in the near future to North London - probably the Enfield area.

Is there any PH actiity around there? Any decent roads to escape to if you go a bit further out? I've always lived in relatively rural areas before, so this will be a big culture shock and I'm hoping I'll be able to escape to somewhere green and twisty in my (soon to be purchased!) TVR. smile

Hi,

Well, I'm deprived of anything interesting to drive across to it (atleast until the weekend - intensive round of viewings/test drives ahead!) but I'll come along if I can.

Whereabouts are you? I will shortly be living on Chase Side in Enfield (more or less am at the moment - moving in with the missus smile)

I too live on Chaseside...but, amusingly confusing for newbies in the area, a completely different Chaseside a couple of miles from the one in Enfield where you are moving to!

I wouldn't worry about not having a car for next weekend. As you can see, the 'Let's meet' thread started in 2006 (!) and as far as I can tell N.Londoners haven't actually managed to arrange anything yet. Maybe, if we two keep posting others will take pity on us and decide that a meet is just what they need on a Sunday afternoon? Hoo noes.

Yep, sounds like a plan!

It's a little complicated - moving in with my girlfriend who currently lives on Chaseside (the Enfield one!) but we'll probably then be moving on from there in a few months to somewhere else in the area. And you know what our cohabitting - we can afford somewhere with its own garage! Wohoo, no more lock-ups. driving
