Fine you can go and eat a fish for thirty quid, and we'll wave at you across the square.

Mate, it's ACE.

...eating fish for 30 quids at la figa is simply missing the point. (i never order the mac lobster at Mcdonalds either). What you have to get is the legendary pizza calzone with tons of tomato sauce. Or the ravioli funghi-porcini(ask for extra sauce). Then you are talking. Less than £10 in either case... These are among the legendary dishes...

Another new arrival seems to be Ping Pong Dim sum down at St Kaths which even though their website says opening in April it looked very open tonight. Might have a look assuming it's not a friends 'test the system' night.
Tried it last night. Staff are nice eye candy for the most part and good at their job. Shame about the food they serve you though.

Think Tesco's value party bites on a nice plate. I asked how many dishes we'd need between us. She said 6 was ok...Right enough if you're anorexic. 8 later we're still hungry. Loaded with MSG to try to give them some taste, but that didn't work. I bet the Chinese people eating in there were wondering what on earth they were getting. Best dim sum I've had was in Hong Kong. This now gets the prize for the worst.
