Thanks again for all the feedback. I was looking around Wapping again over the weekend, really is a nice area. Just need to find the right flat now. Also noticed quite a few restaurants in SK Docks, a Cafe Rouge and a few others.
Are you looking to rent or buy, and what kind of thing are you looking for? It's just that I might know of something coming up soon. wink
Wuss smile

Great Pool Table though smile

I wasn't actually referring to mine - although the lure of living in a tax haven is getting stronger. wink

Agree with all the posts so far. Two years there and feels more like a village than inner London. Get a river view. Never knew I wanted one and wasn't top of the list, but wow, is it nice. Different scenery every day.

One big disadvantege are sunny summer sunday mornings. You will be awoken by all sorts of nice metal. It gets under our skin and then it gets expensive. wink

SWMBO likes the orange Diablo. Mate spotted a black McLaren F1 at a local filling station (don't know if it's local). There's a McLaren SLR and lots of other interesting kit around. Won't mention the Ferraris as most of the car parks have them!

It's the sort of place that I will always want to have a pad. Given all the plus points and the easy commute to the city/wharf I'm surprised it's not more expensive than it is.

I think the black F1 is MAC 13 - lives in Chiswick IIRC.

Pay more to be mobbed by tourists, when you could have a quiet sunny south facing pad on the other side? Do you have a screwloose? wink

Seriously though, what do you enjoy about it most?

Look up "axwell feel the vibe" on youtube it's all shot round wapping.

Also "joggers of wapping" gives a good insight.

2nd all the comments there: wapping is great. I live in a small development called 'prospect place' on wapping wall. On of the only places with a decent garden out there!
Try and get some viewings there if you can find something for sale.

Guys in building in front of me often drive out in a black ford gt..... i am so jealous!

And the 'fastest carrot on the planet' orange diablo whose owner is brave enough to drive around to too numerous speed bumps...

and... oh... the best restaurant on the planet: Il Bordello....

Are we doing another meeting? (i missed the one last time).
