Hi my 2005 ford focus is not running to good-its the last of the old shape d ones and it needs a tune up-well hopefully just that,-it does not run as smoothly as it should and the fuel consumption has dropped to about 20/25 a gallon!!!!!!!! i need to find a decent garage in east london to have a look at it,i'm not to keen on ford main dealers-mainly due to price, any help would be good thanks

When you say it does not run as smoothly as it did, do you mean that it seems to be loosing power? ie when you pull away it does do much until around 1500 - 2000 revs and sounds like it is only firing on 3 cylinders some times.

If so it could be the Coil Pack giving up, simple and quick part to replace (DIY job) replace the HT leads aswell. All in around £60 and thats from a Ford Dealer parts dept. Can get them alot cheaper on Ebay.
