No salesman's hat. Not for friends anyway. How about a group 4 full fat Stratos rep to add to your current one?

I am going to start a new thread with the date in the title later tonite. I will link to it from here.

I will cut and paste the list over as well. Any objections?

Elliott.

ETA: I take it that we are agreed on The Plough as the venue? I won't start the thread until that's decided. Don't wanna railroad this.

Pretty sure the majority vote is the Plough, though there doesn't seem to be as much interest this time. Hopefully the new thread will help change that though.

is anybody attending who has Emerald Software on a laptop? If so there will be a free drink in it for them.

I know you can down load it etc and I have it on both my laptops but I need to test a connection

Ok.

The new thread is posted. Please direct all of your friends, comments and anything else you wish to here:-

Try not to use this thread any more as it may lead to confusion.

(for Freddie mostly! biggrin )

Elliott.

Am I going to be the only 'young person' in a poor persons fast car?
Hmm, depends on your definition of young and poor - I'm 25 and my TVR cost less than some PHer's idea of a good night out. biggrin

Chris, you walked home from The Robin Hood? Blimey, I wouldn't fancy walking along that narrow pavement back home after a few pints. Have you seen the flowers tied to the lampost? Still, you're only 20 seconds away from A & E now aren't you? smile
I'd always wondered how so many flowers appeared on the edge of a largely straight road with no junctions and I think you may have a point there! Not sure I can be arsed to do it again - it's a deceptively long walk for quite a mediocre pub.

Chris, the Ridgeway Tavern is really close to you (left along The Ridgeway from Chase Farm - no good for a PH meet though as the car park is too small).
If you want a lift on the 16th email me rob@robstevens.biz with your mobile number, Rob.;)
We discovered that the day after when the shops were shut and we'd run out of food! It's not a bad little place in a corporate sort of a way. Seemed to be some interesting cars around too (a red TVR wedge turned up whilst we were there).

Somewhat tempted to take you up on the offer just for a ride in Eleanor, but I think I'll find an alternative route for the TVR. Enfield to Botany Bay via Hertford perhaps...

Hmmm, need to order an outdoor car cover before the meet just in case...
