My M3 has just had a front end respray and thumbing through an old copy of EVO, I read that it's probably a good idea to have it done if you like preserving yor pointwork or do many miles. I spoke to a taxi driver - he says they discolour and look pretty crap after a short while.
Does anyone have any experience with these films? How much do they cost, and is it worth it? How long do they last?
Any recommendations to getting it done in the Northeast?

Ventureshield I have it on mine and it's great. Maybe some of the older ones yellowed, but not Ventureshield. Get it done here: http://www.autoshield-protection.co.uk/index.aspxPrice depends on the kit (coverage) you go for. Expect to pay about £500.
