Agree with all of the above, small but perfectly formed turnout today, but fab choice of roads and a route I'd love to repeat topless on a dry hot summer day, brill choices TRD.

re the Lotus, far from perfect weather for it today, hope I didn't slow the Nuclear Power Station down too much pwduncan !!

Ttcool and Mrs, sorry about lunch, hope you got sorted, great to see you both again.

Great day, thanks again TRD, and yes let's make the next one further south for Ttcool etc.

Any photos??

SeanyD,

You didn't slow me down at all, I was in awe of what that beautiful little car and a capable driver could do. I was scared enough in my 4 wheel drive limousine and can only appreciate what you were going through, I would love to have done that in the dry, Agility versus pure grunt is always an interesting experiment! Respect to you for what you got out of the car, you have far more courage than me. Would be interesting to swap for a couple of miles!

Paul.

Looks like you guys had a good time. My M3 is in the dealers awaiting fixing, so couldn't make it. Hopefully will be there for spring!

Thanks to Paul and good to see everyone.

It was a great route, driven with plenty of vigour! Just a shame my prior excesses left me a bit green around the gills.

We'll have to reconvene in the spring for more of the same.

Ed

PS I got some pics, they'll go up if half decent...

Apologies for not turning out for this, me and the better half have t been feeling too good for a couple of days and it was 12.30 before I was even out of bed yesterday (yes, 1.30pm had the clocks not gone back), so hopefully, once the winter is out the way, I'll be out with you in the spring/summer.

Hopefully I'll be along for the next one too, just need a few panels and a windscreen first frown

Glad you enjoyed Joe, wish everyone was as enthusiastic!

I'll organise another run some time, maybe go further south this time... Yorkshire Dales or Moors? Someone who knows these roads better could suggest a route! biggrin
I'd be happy to plot a more southerly route, I spend a lot of time in the moors and dales and there are plenty of options both long and short.

Thats good. Maybe we should do our next one in that area, as we generally always (when I organise them anyway) hang around durham / northumberland. It'd be good to have your input. Next year now though.
