Did someone say joint. A joint is like a splif. Best used in the company of your friends but not your family.

you're selling the 'vette?

Yep. Have nowhere to keep it as it's too big for my yard. That spoils the original plans for a concourse restoration so I've decided to swap it for something more....trackable A 7 of some description would fit nicely in the yard too.

This week I checked the antifreeze on my Wedge, and it was fine. Tomorrow we will go for a spin. Hurray !

My car is feeling a little poorly.

The speed humps have finally knackered the front suspension and I think two new shockers are required.

Now is this your way of getting the missus to accept that you need new dampers when all along you wanted to change then anyway? You'll do anything to get that Cerbera to corner like a Chimarea.

Is that like the Chimeara I was leaving behind in my dust?

Mine gets a full wash & polish today before being locked away for a couple of weeks.......

also had me dust caps nicked off the wheels by a 7 year old. Caught him in the act, so he will be 'off school' for a few days ( little Bas%ard).

Crikey! You got off lightly! I had a run through your (neighbour)"hood" and thought that all the 7-year olds carried switchblades!

Set Mrs "Bomb" on them next time - a clatter round the head with her handbag should do the trick.

(Good job Trygve is giving you extra next month - you'll be able to buy the solid-gold caps!)

The gold beast seems OK.

I've recently had as PAS cooler fitted - the stock pipe cooler was leaking and it just dropped off!!!

I've had an interesting experience with diff oil changes. The diff oil I use now needs friction modifier to get to the right coefficient for the LSD to slip. I didn't have this initially and man the diff was BANGING at slow speeds - frightened the hell out of me.

The car has over 60k on and seems to pull harder and harder. Some friends with the HSV's have bought sotfware interagotors (this is on my list for next year) and a data log from my car has shown the air intake mods and the zorst mod has massively changed the characteritcs of the engine. The PC package allows you to tune the car so next year I should be confirm 370hp and 370 lb ft torque - working my way to 400 over the year

I've got a replacement gille - chey bow tie pattern, not fitted yet and I am about to order replacement discs - 2 piece all round hopefully ahhhhh £££££££

But we've just done over 500 miles of spirited driving and got 24.6 mpg average whcih keeps me smiling.

Keep smiling and keep driving

She was out, chasing the little swine, and breathing fire!! ( situation normal there then ......!)

Probably not the correct forum but at least it is current and "Bomb" is jealous of the AMG performance, so here goes:

A fellow bought a new Mercedes AMG and was out on the motorway for a nice evening drive. The top was down, the breeze was blowing through his hair (yes "Bomb" - he had hair) and he decided to open her up.

As the needle jumped up to 80mph he suddenly saw a flashing blue light behind him. "There ain't no way they can catch an AMG," he thought to himself and opened her up further. The needle hit 90, 100 110 and finally 120 with the lights still behind him.

"What in hell am I doing?" he thought and pulled over.

The cop came up to him, took his license without a word and examined it and the car. "I've had a tough shift and this is my last pull over. I don't feel like more paperwork so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven't heard before you can go!"

"Last week my wife ran off with a cop," the man said, "and I was afraid you were trying to give her back!"

"Have a nice night", said the officer.

Nope! Profile's spot-on. Unless you want a re-match from Aberdeen to Edinburgh?!?! This time - I'll give you a 10 minute start and keep the handbrake on to give you a chance

Yes though the wheels are not correct so they're being replaced as soon as I can get it organised. The kit includes hubs, bearings discs and calipers, pads, flexy hoses and of course wheels.
