Accomodation Recommendations : Northumberland

Hi - planning a visit to Northumberland ( Berwick - Alnwick area ) in late Sept.

I've been camping there a lot over the years and love the area, but taking my good lady this time and she's not so keen on tents.

Was looking for a good hotel in the area - preferably a smaller place - budget up to ~£150 a night.

Kind of like the idea of staying on Lindisfarne but no idea what accommodation there is like.

Suggestions gratefully received.

Try the Northumberland Arms in Felton, just off the A1 south of Alnwick. Absolutely fantastic rooms and food, and around £150 per night.
