Car restoration in NE

Hi,
A friend is wanting his MG B restoring.

He wishes to drop it off and return when its done.

Needs wings replacing and some other paintwork, Major engine service and tuneup and interior deep cleaning and leather restoration/replacment if required.

Can anyone recommend a restorer in Gateshead/Newcastle, I've just bought a 1989 Mk1 MR2 and it needs some welding, panels and paint, cheers.

There's a guy at Coquet buness park amble ne65. Goes under the mg name restores mgs

bit further away but did a stirling job on my TVR and they are completing a Bond Equipe (Herald) also modifying a Herald chassis that now has MX5 running Gear including rear diff / suspension.

Mike at MD is a top guy and his work is very good. He currently has my e34 wagon that has been painted and currently getting an S50b30 M3 Motor dropped in.

Try classical gas in Darlington, great bunch of guys, ex moss and sjr so really know their mg stuff.
