Just got back in, I've been out with Carole route setting all day. We're joining the NYPHers at Helmsley for a bite to eat. 6th March is Mothers Day so there's no chance of getting booked in for lunch anywhere. I have a route sorted and will post some details once I've had chance to pull it together.

I'm planning to meet you northerners at Teesside Airport again like we did last year.

This year will be Point-to-Point. Maps and directions given when we meet. No waiting for people, everyone just drives the same route to the same place and if we get split up, so be it, we'll group again at the next 'Point'. Should be quite simple to follow though some of the roads will be challenging. I am considering adding a 'Coward's' route for those who question my choice of roads.

Oooohhh God..... If I know Bobs route planning, that means we'll be going on unsurfaced farm tracks, through raging fords and dodging 'loose sheep'.........

The roads have improved a lot since last year. Quite a lot of resurfacing has been done and those bits are fine. You'll have to go easy on some sections but they'll be obvious and should only bite if you're going too fast. This section of the run isn't fast, it's fun with very steep gradients and twisty bits.

How did you guess?

No NYM run is complete without a trip to Rosedale Chimney Bank.

3 inches?!?!?!
If / when the Marcos moves, 2 inches is what I have to deal with!

I won't be there.
Car ain't finished, plus my health problems from last year have returned.
Means I have to rest rather than work on the car.
Bugger, more delays.

You'll have to come in your Fiat Uno then. It won't be the first time either, Tom 'minimax' did last years Cobweb in a Fiat Seicento, very similar motor.
