Anyone run a building company?

Hi,
A long shot, I'm looking for a company experienced in new build properties.
I've sourced a nice off market plot of land and discussed with a finance company.
Now just need to bring in an experienced company to carry out the build.
One company I've spoken to 1 were more than happy to take on the project but insisted on keeping 100% of profit effectively cutting me out the deal.
Anyone?
