When is the next Drive out ?

I went out on my own a few days ago, it's far too greasy out there at present for a proper decent run. I ended up driving like my girlfriend most of the time.

I'm happy to arrange something for next month if there's enough interest? Winter never a great time as weather is crap and no grip (especially on the tyres I've got on mine at the minute).

Where you from mate? I know lots of good roads around the Durham/Tyneside/Northumberland/Border area. I can't wait to get out on a proper drive once the weather gets better!

Out at Prudhoe. I know a few around and about here, but always good to find more!

I expect you'll be quite familiar with the Military Road, Derwent, Blanchland etc, I go on those roads quite a lot. I'll get something sorted out with a view to a hoon maybe in the next 4-6 weeks or so.

I am indeed - we have a good choice over this side of the city.

I'll keep an eye and see what turns up. Always nice to meet other enthusiasts as well - nice to be able to be a car geek surrounded by other car geeks. Ha ha.

Yeah the runs out are normally decent. Not as many turn out these days as they used to, in fact, this North East forum seems deathly quiet in recent years, but sometimes smaller groups are better in a way. When the groups get too big it can become difficult to manage.

People I know seem to be in groups by marque rather than region. I think that's the way it's gone.

I might head out next week on Wed/Thurs 29th or 30th. I know weather forecasts this far ahead are to be taken with a pinch of salt but it's forecast bright sunshiny weather both days and I'm off work. I also need to get out and push on a bit now the weather is improving to regain a bit of lost confidence after my crash at the last meet.

Hi all, new to PH as a poster, but have read forum posts many times.

I'm up for a drive out, and have a corker route plotted, but could never get many S2000 owners to meet up in the NE and go out.

As mentioned on another thread, Yorkshire big breakfast meet is on at easter. We could have a drive down there?
