Well thats my report for my dissertation finally finished. Nigh on a year of work which for the past month has seen me constantly working away without any resemblance of a social life has concluded today. How blumin marvellous.

So now I have a 30,000 word, 136page report (the sodding contents stretching 4 pages) and a program which simulates cars acclerating over a quarter mile by using numerous different variables (such as engine power, wheels, gears etc). Although the accuracy is somewhat suspect (thats more down to the variables entered than the actual simulation tho) it only bloody works. It's still in it's infancy mind, I plan to continue the development as a hobby over the coming years (although nothing in the next few months - I'm sick of this sucker!) releasing it to the world shortly.

It's certianly nice to get rid of the feeling of "am I done enough", just a shame it's replaced with "have I dont enough"

And relax

Now, where is that light switch, this tunnel is far to dark!

Yep, well done mate . It's a great feeling once it's out of the way.

I can remember my final year dissertation - planned it in the second year, got it approved and then completed it over the summer holidays. Just spent the final year tweaking it.

It was great fun watching all the others panicking for the last few months when I could concentrate on the degree show (graphic design)

there are a couple of people in our year who did that as well, although there is an equal number who started to develop their software, test get some results & write it all up only in the past few days. Sheer madness.

Still, just have to print it now and get it bound, that'll be Tuesday's job!
