Thanking you kindly Spotted and heard you a mile off mind, even in grey! I see you know about the evilness that is those speed bumps then!

Nearly came a cropper in the Lotus a while back !! I saw the yellow glow from around the corner too !! Hows it going anyway ?
I'm expecting to be putting up a "so this is what it feels to be employed again" thread next week

A choice !! even better !! Sept 16th should be even better then, looking forward to it as first north east meeting. Talked to a couple of mates who have Lotus s2's and they are well up for it 2. Should be a good day !!

Might be up for this actually, depending on how things go and how comfortable I feel with driving in a group by then

Edit: Bollox, can't get a driving test till the 18th of September at the moment

have you tried hexham? they have a few spaces according to a friend of mine plus it's dead easy as it's not exactly over populated!

Think I've got it sorted! I got up yesterday morning (well afternoon actually...) and there had been a cancellation so I've got a test booked for the 25th of August. Just can't screw this one up or I won't be able to get another test for over 4 weeks! I had checked Blyth which is the next nearest test centre but they are booked up till the 25th of September

Don't suppose anyone fancies driving around stopping all the other traffic so its a bit easier for me?

I past up in Hexham, very easy place to learn and drive in, plus it's fairly certain you'll pop onto the dual carriage way for some of your 20min drive.

I'll see if I can get hold of my old driving instructor. He specalised in Hexham, was an ex rally driver and was a great bloke!

Problem with Hexham is I don't know the area at all, whereas round here I know most of the test routes like the back of my hand. Just hope I pass now so I can meet you lot

just out of interest, where are you from?

I didn't live in hexham (lived in scarborough!) but I took my test in hexham as the reputation it has is one of a high pass rate. it was a piece of piss to be frank, and I was so gratified at the easy ride that I got that I didn't even spin off from the driving test centre which I had promised myself that I would do...hmm. I think I was a bit of a chav back then

You do have stripes on your current car, so its obviosuly not all out of your system

Not saying where I live on here, all I'll say is I'm using the Longbenton test centre, which is the nearest to me but I don't live there

Tom I've been ringing your mobile to no avail. Get in touch soon please, we have something rather urgent to discuss.

I was in the red 111r at the garage getting ready for a run into Northumberland and it was my nephew who spotted you first; says he wants one when he's old enough.
