You all mad, mad I say.

Then some of you b@stards come back for another go.
Whats this all about?
Are you lost? I don't know.
Maybe I go home

brilliant, just brilliant... but it is rather distressing that you went to all the effort of registering just to have a go at us.

Its also amazing that you could read the pistonheads sticker in our rear window with all that head-shaking you were doing!

Toon Hoon 2 sounds like a good idea.

More noise and more cars.

I might do the run in the Furby, and see if these Clio boys will find it as hard to keep up with me as Polarbert does in his 182 on the A6 from Starkholmes (Yeah, yeah, yeah, outside now Rob!) or I may blag a ride shotgun in something flash if anyone wants a navigator.

Well I am one of the clio boys (and an ex Furby owner) so yes it will be interesting, but I think we'll be fairly equally matched really.... I left a Scooby owner licking his wounds tonight on the twisties, so the little french shed is ready for anything that is thrown at it tomorrow

Well I couldnt keep up with you, but I think the little Skoda oil burner did OK though running with the big dogs, apologies if I was in the way or covered anyone in soot.

That was a great run out, thanks everyone.

I've been back a while, but had something to eat and been looking through some photos of today.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to everyone who gave me passenger rides - Stefan (GTM), Byff (Cerb) and Mick (VX220T). I had an awesome day and it was fun meeting all of you even though I've forgotten most of your names hehe Tom, well done for organising the run and can I just say, you are a total nutter thumbup Got any rear tread left?

Oh, and by the way, the little shits that nicked the valve caps were in a couple of my pictures:

furious Anyone fancy going back next weekend at the same time to see if they are there again? shoot

God dam thieving bast#ards !!! Great day out !! Bring on Toon Hoon 2..... sooner rather than later !!

I've been on a good few runs out now, but for me this was probably the best yet - the most amount of cars, and probably the fastest pace I've experienced yet!

Those kids must have pounced on the cars as soon as we were out of site, because i was the first to leave the pub and they were long gone by the time I got back.... didnt notice anything suspicious at the time like, even though i was expecting something. One advantage I guess to having an almost completely anonymous car is that mine appeared to be untouched. Cant understand why anyone would both nicking valve caps though, but at least the cars werent keyed or anything. Just goes to show you get charvers even in the most remote places!

Right. I have managed to swop my rota Saturday working. So BG will be with you at 9.30am, either in two and a half tons of four bed detached (So I can get in your way on the twisties, yet sprint away from you on the straights hehe ) or, more likely, I will be in the Furby vRS, as it will cost me nowt, and much as I love old BG, he's a bloody handfull on these runs tank driving yikes

I recall you set the brakes on fire twice on the last one hehe

idea A Night Run!

that's a good idea!

doesn't even have to be late as it'll start getting dark early soon....

we really don't want it to be raining though as those roads are slippy enough - and in the hills we'll get snow instead!

Is it just me that thinks that a night run is possibly a disaster waiting to happen. Night time, greasy roads, TVR's famous inadequate lighting, dutch people on mopeds that can't work out how fast we travel in daylight, never mind darkness.

Just a thought.

Agreed and it also means that the stops aren't nearly as sociable and videos will be a waste of time to record such an excellent event.

But I'm right behind having a toon hoon 2 (started last night working on a suggested route)

Nah, was just deglazing the discs on old BG. Glowing bright red tends to do the trick, but the large amounts of smoke billowing from the front arches does give one cause for concern at times yikes

No byff, I can't see a bloody thing over 50 at night. sonar
The Tams lights only go far enough to see things that far.
idea Night vision goggles - no lights - excellent.
Quick search ebay, wanted 15 pairs of 2nd gen nvg for Toon Hoon the sequel yikes

Oh God! I am having recollections now yikes

Telling that really nice couple in one bar that they were 'Really nice, in a Felicity Kendall & Richard Briers kind of way'.

Trying to talk to Tom in the pub about 'Doing serious crime' to get rich quick.

Looking at the Earl Grey Obelisk thingy with Tom, and being impressed with the tea and all that, doing a Captain Picard impression "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot!" and then telling a passing bloke who was more pissed than I was that I wanted to be as intoxicated as he was too.

Ripping that twenty in half after a disagreement about change, ten quid each hehe

Then getting the two halves back later, having the taxi abandoned by you lot, leaving me to pay the fare, and the guy not accepting the twenty in two halves

A mid-week night run with night out in Newcastle appeals to me. What you can't see can't hurt. I'm in Newcastle next Tuesday.
