I really like the look of those Clio,s and you hardly see any about. . How do they compare performance wise to a modern hot hatch?

They are very, very cool cars. There always used to be one parked at the end of my mam and dad's street. I saw it so regularly, I didn't appreciate how rare they are!

Good luck when it snows if the one i followed last year fish tailing up the road is an indication of their winter ability.

i like them but there not really any quicker than a normal 172/182 clio are they?

Massive potential power from a 3.0L V6. And just look at it. Even if it wasn't any quicker, look at it!

I've owned a Corsa Vxr and it's definitely faster, not massively because of it's fat and heavy arse. Off the lights it's rapid and I'll always be confident against another hot hatch. It has loads of torque low down but to get it to really shift you have to be high up in the revs 4500 +

To be honest you don't get anyone trying to race you (company car drivers excluded) anyone wHo knows what it is just wants to want to look at it and give the thumbs up or takes pictures. It's the weirdest feeling, can't fill it up without someone asking about it.

I've done research about wanting more power. The engine is solid but the same can't be said about the gearbox. The route im wanting to take is reducing weight (but still keeping it looking standard)

Vauxhall VXR8, had it about 3 months now and absolutely love it. Getting a fruitier sounding exhaust fitted next week to unleash a bit more of the V8 rumble.
