Ever tried the 3 treble vodka + mixers for £5? Possibly the worst thing I've ever tasted. I'd rather drink paint stripper!

It all depends on what type of dudes are coming up surely? You cant all just give your opinion of whats good cos we all know where the hotspots are!

If you want to get pissed as cheaply and quickly as possible and mix it up with proper geordie lowlife (not gangster wannabe's so relatively safe) then hang about The Gate and go to Sinners (House Trebles with Mixer for £2 last time I was there a couple of months ago), then head on to Idols and to the Big Market.

If you want to step up a class, hang about Central Station and go to Destination, Revolution (Vodka Bar) Long Bar and The Lounge. Then head to Living Room, Perdu etc to see some true female talent!!

Or On the same lines Quayside will offer much of the same with Quilted Camel, Offshore, Chase and the likes.

As for the afters/nightclubs. Its a Stag DO!! Diamonds is on Pilgrim Street and For Your Eyes Only is not far for a bit of 'fun'. £tenner in though and drinks are a premium rate.

For hardcore dance music, Digital is just up the road from Central Station or for the rockers Legends is just up from Diamonds on Pilgrim Street.

Avoid Whitley. Its not central to Newcastle and is a district in its own out towards the coast. Avoid Osbourne's unless you want to mix with Students and Toffs.

Thats my opinion anyway. We always start at Players Bar, Sinners, Idols then on from there.

There's some fantastic bars and pus in Newcastle but the ones that cater for a stag do (tend to be the more tacky ones) are:

http://www.steinbierkeller.com/newcastle-bier-kell...
http://www.samjacks.co.uk/
http://www.idols-venue.co.uk/newcastle/idols_newca...

There's also several strip/lap dance clubs if you really want to lose a lot of money fast.

I tend to avoid the above but they should be a laugh and more accomodating to stag groups.
