what about after work when all the traffic has died away, now the evenings are ligter and the weather is so great right now.
Its hard for me to get away from family time at the weekend and local roads can be driven in the evening.

I'm local(ish), live just outside Stoke (Goldenhill/Kidsgrove area). My lovely lady's parents live in Cannock so i'm down there fairly regularly! Not long had my car (56-reg Fiesta Zetec S) so haven't had chance to get a PH sticker for it yet, so the car doesn't exactly stand out..
Would love to get together with a few of you for a photo session/cruise about etc, find some decent roads smile

Congrats on the new car Tom. Nice motor.
Regarding a hoon - I'd be up for one too. There are a few of us (15 cars) doing a sprint day at curborough on the 11th of this month - could always go for a small drive after that if any of you guys fancied coming down to spectate? Maybe drive to a nice pub afterwards for a couple of drinks in a beer garden? Other than that, I'll see how work's looking in May and look at the possibility of a trip then, maybe welsh twisties? biggrin

Cheers biggrin like the sound of that, but I'll be working on the 11th ... Weekends are better for me, would be great to get out and about with some local PHers! Doubt I'd be able to keep up with all of you in a straight line but will give it a go wink haha...

A few of the midlands lot are young, I'm only twenty myself, Daggers89 is. 22 etc. There's plenty of decent roads around. Newport road to telford is good, the road past blythfield is good.. Wales isn't too far either smile would be good to meet a few others around the area!

So the fact that I'm 23 in just over a month means that I'll be one of the oldest?
Winner biggrin haha. Let me know the next time you guys plan a weekend (preferably Sunday) gathering as hopefully I'll come and meet you all too ..

Yeh would be nice to get some of the Redditch guys involved too - think I remember your Z4M from a run to Oxford in the past..

An early Sunday morning run around the Peak District would be easy to do & dependent on where in Staffordshire you are is easier than tootling across to Wales?! There are also more opportunities for a breakfast stop as well. I've done something similar a few times with friends before smile

Yes, there are a few good routes- it just depends how long you have got time-wise. I will PM you hopefully over the weekend with some ideas.

The Peaks is nice....but it is really busy , the roads are rough and the speed limits is either 40 or 50mph nearly everywhere.
Shropshire or mid Wales is definately worth the little extra drive out...In my Humble Opiion of course. I quite fancy a wee blat out when the weather stops being scary!
