Jas, as much as I would like to come and support the local meet and see the TVRs out, it looks like I'm going to be heading to Silverstone in the morning for SS (tough choice as I do prefer local meets)
I am down for the Jag SS meet in a couple of weeks time and it looks like there are few names that look familiar on the list, so hopefully as a follow onto the the local meet tomorrow there might be a few that might want to convoy down to Gaydon on the 2nd?
Have fun tomorrow chaps

Have a great day tomorrow at the SS and thanks for your comments regarding this event.
From your post last night I have signed up for the Jaguar SS at Gaydon (Many Thanks) so we should get in touch regards driving down in convoy at some stage.
Have a good one Max
guys, sorry but I'm going to have to pass on this morning. I haven't been able to get to the bottom of the intermittent issue I'm having with the car not starting when the engine is hot. I had someone due to look at it, but he's put me back a few days. I can't really risk being left stranded in the middle of Warwickshire, so I think it's best to err on the side of caution until the problem is sorted.
have fun. drive safely

I'm ready to go, just waiting on a guy dropping off some bits, so might not be there for 11, I'm presuming some time will be wasted chatting and perusing the metal though .....
I'm going for this mainly, as I'm off to the Oktoberfest at about 1-2pm. Cars and beer day, pretty epic.Thank you so much for turning up and supporting this event
The weather which was not looking good early in the week turned out to be a perfect day which helped in receiving a good turn out and good selection of varied cars.
The not so organized organizer(That's me) did't even get a final count and my pictures that I took, well half of them have massive sun light reflection and the others blurred But from the remains of my photo's I reckon 18 cars???
It was always going to be difficult keeping together and upon reaching Leamington Spa we had lost half the field. Not sure but about 10-11 continued onto Warwick where we had a complete malfunction at the traffic lights and the roundabout which we took a left and the back markers took a right.
We did pull over and waited a good few minutes but no sign of you so a unanimous diction was made F Em!! and the remaining five of us stayed together all through Stratford high street and the remaining journey to the Crabmill.
At arriving at the Crabmill we were greeted with the back markers who had settled in nicely and been waiting about five minutes. Rigga (Martin) sorry I never got to meet you in person,I did ask your where about's but was told you had just left.
Thanks again to everyone that met this morning at Costa, for those that came on the run,and too those that got lost I'm sorry. I hope you all enjoyed our small gathering and when the better weather is more predictable we can arrange another meeting.
Some photo's that are half decent.. I took pictures of every car attended but sorry the quality is shameful to publish...
The camera then decided to play silly buggers from the Noble (Alastair) onwards
Kind regards TVRJAS

Cheers Jas, really enjoyed perusing the cars and meeting the guys, the run was better than I had hoped and gave everyone the chance to enjoy their motors. It was always gonna be difficult to keep us all in convoy, but all made it to the Crab Mill in the end.
I am up for the next one, bring it on. ,!

Great morning and a good turn out.
Being towards the rear of the group it was interesting to see the reactions of the general public, especially at junctions, when after the first couple of car's had gone tyre squeeling off, some individuals came out of their garden's or drives to see what was going on, impressed not

Yea as we arrived at the pub and the end of the run, it became apparent that the 12 year old next to me had then had enough of his dad enjoying himself, so decided to head off home. Ill convert him to a petrolhead eventually if I keep trying I'm sure.Polariz said:
He should have sat with me in the red zed, as I spent the entire hoon at the business end of your exhaust and enjoyed it immensely. I don't think I could ever get bored of the noise frankly.
Funnily enough I spent a lot of time behind the green S series tvr, and I was impressed with the roar out of that too.

I spent 50% of the trip behind the Noble.
Dear God; that thing can shift
Ill vouch for that, been in it a fair few times and never ceases to amaze me. Whoosh whoosh bang bang and gone. I followed the TVR wedge for a bit with the square exhausts. My Z4mc is quite loud but i couldnt hear it over his..!!!Dear God; that thing can shift
Epic

Cheers for the appreciation of the sound, thats why I almost always keep the roof down, so I can hear it .
Could still hear your growler Griff ... and a great view in my mirrors, my son took some photos of the awesome road presence in the mirrors at the lights in Leamington.
maybe I should reconsider selling..........??

You mean you broke down on the run or going home or elsewhere?
Regards the printed map I did put up the route planned on page two(I guess not many people saw it),it was the best I could do without a printer.
I often go on the route or very similar to it and thought it was pretty straight forward,I guess I was wrong and we did have a few that joined us from Nottingham which would of been all new stomping ground for them.
Sorry to hear of your car problems, five TVR's all made it although I think we lost the Chimaera with the stripes and the White Jag in Barton when we stopped at the pub and he says he needs a Pooh Must of been all the excitement.
Hope the car is nothing serious and you're out and about again snapping great photo's that you put up on the Midlands Exciting spotted thread.
Regards Jas

Jason, really sorry mate. I realised as soon as I hit the main road that I hadn't said thanks!
Had a great run out today, cracking route even if we did lose most of the convoy (we did stop and wait, honest).
Thanks for organising this mate, was a good laugh

Hope you sort the brake light failure out and is an easy fix.
