Sorry to hear you were ill following your visit. Did any of your friends suffer in the same way? On average 400 full cooked breakfasts are served at each breakfast club meeting (3600 per year) and you are the first visitor to mention any ill effects of this type, hopefully this has not put you off attending in the future.
Yep, now confirmed that this ( Sunday 8/2) was the biggest turnout since the breakfast club started 4 years ago with over 300 cars attending and the paddock area full by 09.30. Thanks to everyone that came over to Shelsley and had faith that the mist would clear into the fabulous blue sky that emerged at about 10 o'clock. If you have any pics from the weekend feel free to drop them onto the club facebook page.

I thought the March meeting last year had over 400. At least that was what I was told at the time. As I recall there were all sorts of cars everywhere including the field at the back where I recall a very nice Buggati had to park. It would be nice to know the official figures for that meet. It certainly felt that there was more then than last week.

No he didnt have chips. Anyone who did attempt to consume chips served up in Shelsley cafe that day would have suffered to. Most people are to polite to mention a lot of things. On a separate occasion i was served up an uncooked burger from the shed on the grassy knoll. So it's not like its a one off either.
Of course it has put me off.

I can absolutely understand that buying 1 meal you were unhappy with let alone 2 would taint your views of the venue however, polite or otherwise, both matters should have been raised at the time and I assure you that all efforts would have been made to resolve the issues to everyone's satisfaction. There's often a group of 8 or more of us that attend most meets, We make a point of getting in the cafe early and I've not heard a bad word from any of them with regard the catering. Great venue with nice clean modern facilities in historic settings, can't fault it myself look forward to the next one.

Chips ffs!!!how can you go wrong with chips? Potatoes last for months (probably frozen pre-cut chips thinking about it) and then you drop boiling oil that will kill any germs!
Dirty hands sounds favourite to me
Raw burger? take it back, anyone can make a mistake, I'm sure they would have exchanged it without question.
Whens the next Breakfast Club? I'm starving

Likewise - 9 of us turned up together last month & had a really enjoyable Sunday morning - just as described above. See you next weekend folks Hi, Just checked the registration list that currently stands at over 340 cars. We always get about 20% over on the day so at over 400 so far it should be an entertaining morning. Some great stuff on the list so pop over to see us.
